Protectosaurs Party – Update

Hey gang, I was tossing and turning in my sleep last night trying to figure out what to do with our Protectosaur Program. We don’t want to exclude anyone and everyone that has earned their place as a Protectosaur deserves to keep it if they still want it, but at the same time we have too many Pros that no longer play Webosaurs. One way or another, something has to be done to tidy up our Protectosaur Program. Nothing is going to be done until we all come together this weekend and discuss some options. Instead of deactivating any Pros this week I am going to wait until after this Saturday when we’ll come together and have an official Town Hall Protectosaur Meeting. We’ll still be meeting in Dr. Nanosaurus’ Lab at 12:00 WST. Come, share your opinions, let me know what you think should be done and then we’ll put several options up for a vote. Also, this doesn’t have to be SO serious, we’re going to have some fun and give away some awesome Cave Items for great ideas that are well received by the crowd. See you this weekend!

What: Protectosaur Celebration!

Double Dip Party Day?? – Saturday

Hey gang, this Saturday we are going to island hop a little bit and have two, separate one hour parties back-to-back. DOUBLE THE FUN!

Firstly, at 11:00 WST this Saturday we’ll be meeting in the Lizard Lounge for another RAP BATTLE. You’d better bring your A-game because I’ve been listening to rap music all week and am totally ready to bust a flow. Participants that beat a me or a moderator we get a special new SURPRISE item!

THEN at 12:00 WST we are switching gears and headed to Dr. Nanosaurus’ Secret Lab. There has been an uproar recently on the Webosaurs Forum that there are too many Pros and not enough active Pros. Well, this Saturday at Noon we’ll be announcing a slightly NEW Protectosaurs Program. Many inactive Pros will lose their Pro-status if they have not been active for 6 months or longer, so if you are a Pro and want to stay a Pro, but have been inactive, now is your chance to come speak up and keep your status! Once Pros have been deactivated they will have to re-apply (with special consideration of your previous pro-status) if they would like to become Protectosaurs again! See you this weekend!

What: Rap Battle!

Weekly Environmental Fact – A “Blue” Tiger??

This can’t be real… can it?
Weekly Environmental Fact time gang! Today’s question comes from Irvine, who never fails to stimulate the brain with interesting questions each week, thank you Irvy! The question is, “Is there really a blue tiger called the Maltese tiger?” The answer is YES and it’s a beautiful creature.

The Maltese tiger, sometimes called a blue tiger is a sub species of a tiger that is really only different in color. This phenomenon also occurs in South American jaguars, you may have seen pictures of light jaguars with dark spots and also dark jaguars, sometimes called black panthers, with barely visible spots. Maltese tigers are similar to black panthers in that they are a coloration morph of South Chinese tigers. It is largely believed that these Maltese tigers are completely extinct, but there have been reports of blue tigers in Korea as well, home to the Siberian tiger. Black tigers have also been reported and for a long time were also considered to by mythical. Even though these elusive beasts may be incredibly difficult to find and possibly extinct there is good news. Because Blue tigers are essentially genetic anomalies there is always the possibility of two “regular” tigers giving birth to one of these mythical creatures. What do you think about the incredible Maltese tiger? Have you ever heard of one? Special thanks to Irvine for opening my eyes to yet another incredible animal that I had not previously known about! See you on the Island!
